Olhao is a major port and is the largest fishing port in the Algarve. It is full of character with Moorish-style houses and quaint old interesting buildings. There is a long, very pleasant, paved promenade with gardens to provide a welcome escape from the heat of the sun. If you are driving to Olhao there is plenty of parking along this water front road. We just returned again from Algarve and would highly recommend First Car. Staff are friendly, service efficient, pickup and return was a breeze and fast, no silly fuel policy either. Car ran no problem as was very new. Used this outfit for many years and very happy to use again whenever we go to Algarve.
